Roll up! Roll up! Another fantastically FUN theme for either a boy or girl of any age is a circus theme! There is so much you can do with this theme. The circus is such a classic much loved experience for all children and it makes sense to base a celebration around this! So here are a few finds I’ve gathered which may inspire you and help you bring the circus to your town! They aren’t necessarily meant to be used all together – but some of these may fit your particular vision for this theme
Firstly these cute party hats look like so much fun! The little red pom pom’s at the top are a great finishing touch! Great for the birthday boy/girl or all the guests!
Loving this Happy Birthday banner with more of a vintage circus feel. Great alternative to a bunting decoration!
These circus wall stickers could be used as a backdrop to the cake or food table or perhaps scattered around the party area to create a carnival feel.
What’s a kid’s party without cupcakes? Well these cupcake wrappers and cupcake toppers are perfect to decorate your cupcakes easily to fit in with the carnival feel. I think they would make even the simplest of cupcakes look good!
These lovely large lollipops will surely bring smiles to all the party guests!
Love the authentic look of these popcorn bags!
These bright red and white products will help carry the Circus theme through to your table:
Something that would also look great on the table is this large circus bowl which would be useful either for snacks, or to place other goodies in such as favours to take home, cutlery, drink poppers etc:
Here are some more really unique finds to help add special touches to the Circus theme:
Want something a little extra special for your cake/dessert table? Have a look at this gorgeous circus elephant toy which would also make a great ornament/keepsake of the event:
This turntable could be filled with yummy goodies, cutlery or take home favours! This is yet another item which could come in handy long after the party is over for storing craft items/pens etc.
A great colouring book which can be personalised for the kids to use at the party or to take home:
Love these colourful clown pens which would make unique and useful party favours!
These red gingham fabric party bags would be just perfect for a take home gift for a Circus theme which could be reused by the guests after the party too!
I know you will love this musical toy which makes for a really unique party decoration which could also be kept in the nursery or playroom after the party! Items which can be reused like this are so valuable because if you are going to spend extra on special decorations for a party then it’s great to choose decorations which have multiple uses!
I hadn’t seen anything like this sweet bunting tape before and it really caught my eye for the Circus theme! Perhaps it could be used on your invitation/envelopes, for favour packaging or even to wrap around some glass milk bottles!
Something else quite fun are these authentic tickets. You could send them along with an invitation to the party, or perhaps give them out at the party and have the guests hand one in each time they participate in a party game/activity. It would really help recreate the feel of actually being at a carnival!
The circus theme is such a joyous theme! I hope you’ve found something which has caught your eye that you can add to your little one’s celebration! Enjoy the planning as I am sure the little one’s will love this party!

Hi little celebrations,
My name is Sandra and I have just setup my own website as a home studio florist. Having three children I’m always trying to come up with party themes your website makes this so much easier. I have come up with an idea you may like and it’s a flower party. The children get to make their own box flower arrangement, with lots of ribbon, colored paper and bright fresh flowers. Please email me any feedback as being a new business I need as much advise as possible. Thanks Sandra.

Hi Sandra, I think the flower party idea is great. Especially for the older children (6 plus). My daughter will love to go to a flower party. Jinglei
