A perfect excuse for a pretty party is to base it around a Shabby chic or a floral based theme. It’s a theme where you might be able to find items easily around your own home which work into the decorations and props (or give you an excuse to buy something which will later match your home decor!) and mix and match different items and floral prints to create a shabby chic look.
I’ve enjoyed putting together this collection as it is definitely one of my favourite themes! Particularly lovely for perhaps a baby shower or Christening or a little one’s party where you don’t have a strong idea for a theme based on a child’s interests yet.
If you have some lovely vintage or shabby chic furniture pieces this is a great theme to style a dessert table incorporating them. However even if you don’t – some nice floral fabric can make a nice tablecloth for your party tables.
Here are a few ideas to get you started! =)

This is definitely one of my favourite themes as you can make things look very pretty and you can bring together a range of items which don’t have to match and somehow it can all look great!
Hope you enjoy planning this party and putting together all the bits and pieces to celebrate your child!
