I’m a Little Teapot Theme – Real Party

I’m thrilled that my daughter’s 2nd birthday party has been featured on the Little Big Company blog!

We chose an “I’m a little teapot” theme as she loves singing nursery rhymes and playing with her teaset – I knew this would perfectly suit her! I simply wanted a sweet and fun party for her.

With a 5 month old to take care of my energies were a little strained leading up to the party but in the end I just loved seeing my little girl enjoying herself so much on the day! There were many little things I should have/could have changed but it doesn’t matter….celebrations aren’t about the perfect…they are about the memories!

I was inspired by some vintage tea party printables by Love Creation Gal and the colours pink, yellow & mint green.

All the vendor credits will be listed throughout this post if you wish to find anything =)

Hope you enjoy viewing the pictures of our own little celebration!:

The dessert table included a stunning cake made by Spoon and Fork Cookies & Cake who also made gorgeous cookies.

I also had jelly cups, oreo pops, marshmellow pops, meringues and turkish delight.

The backdrop ruffles I bought from the online store Emerald and Ella

Mint Green cake stand is from Leo & Bella, and the pink cake stand is from Mum’s Little Party Secret

Denin from Spoon & Fork Cookies and Cake did an amazing job with the cake and cookies:

I made the oreo pops and marshmellow pops. The marshmellow pops were a little bit of a disaster but thank goodness I had these cute toppers from Charli Mae to make them look adorable anyway!

The sweet stamped spoons were from Red Elephant Creative. They are personalised with Rebekah’s name and also have a delicate doily print stamped on. These baking cups are from Sweet Celebrations. Perfect for jelly!

I was lucky enough to have Pom Pom Princess create a beautiful set of pom poms for the drinks table – I am in love with these tulle pom poms which are now hanging in my baby girl’s nursery! They are so soft and pretty! To be honest I DON’T think I did them justice – I think I could have laid them out in a better way! All the rushing around in the morning with a toddler and baby in the house contributed to that =)

Red Elephant Creative also created teapot garlands in pink, yellow & mint which I used around the party areas – these were so delicate and cute.

We had an adults food table and a seperate kids food table. On the kids table I used some yellow polka dot lanterns from The Party Studio as well as a bunting using the printable collection for decoration. The pink polka dot tablerunner in this table and the above table was from The Party Parlour (love their range of tablerunners!)

The colourful food cartons I used to serve some of the snacks are from The Party Studio

I made a print for Rebekah describing what she is like at the age of 2 which will be nice to look back on as she gets older.

We were lucky to have the gorgeous pink damask plates & cups from Illume Designs – they are really pretty!

I stamped all the napkins with a stamp I had bought from Sweet Style for Rebekah’s first birthday.

I used large lovely mint green lanterns from The Party Parlour. These lanterns easily fold for storage after the party – highly recommend them for a simple but effective decoration!

You can see again the teapot garlands from Red Elephant Creative here as well:

We LOVE having toys from Tiny Tots Party Hire at our parties – the kids go crazy for them. It keeps them so busy and entertained which also means the adults can have a great time! The ball pit was again another hit, as was this toy kitchen! I wish I could show you all the pictures of the kids having loads of fun on all the toys but I don’t like displaying other people’s kids on my blog. Trust me – the toys were played with non stop =)

Bespoke Party Products created these teapot favour bags – they were truly adorable! I topped them off with thank you tags from the printable collection and tied them with yellow twine from Sweet Celebrations.

Here are the favour boxes all laid out on my daughters toy piano with the teapot garland which Red Elephant Creative made:

And this is what it’s all about! Smiles by the birthday girl =)

Thanks for taking the time to view the pictures and thank you once again to all the vendors who helped contribute to this special celebration for our daughter.
